Importing vehicles to Australia is prohibited except in few conditions.   • Have acquired ownership of the vehicle when overseas for at least a period of one year
  • The twelve months period must be just before arriving in Australia
  • The vehicle should be used for transport only
  • The car must have been driven by the owner throughout the twelve months period and has been visiting a garage for regular maintenance.
  • The owner should have an overseas license.
